AMENFI EAST MCE DONATES TO WANTRAM BASIC SCHOOL.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Amenfi East, Hon. Frederick Korankye on Monday, 4th July, 2022 took his "operation 1000 dual desks per year" to Wantram in the Amenfi East Municipality. 

 Hon. Korankye donated 40 dual desks to the school and promised to add up in the coming weeks. According to the MCE, statistics available to him indicate that the Municipal is in dual desk deficits of about 3,500. 

So far, 612 dual desks have been supplied to 18 schools in the Municipality. 

He took the opportunity to advise the pupils to take their studies seriously so that they can benefit from the free SHS policy.

Present were the Assemblyman for the area, Hon. Kingsley Oteng Frimpong, the Headmistress of the school, Ms. Gloria Koomson and PTA /SMC executives.

Hon. Oteng Frimpong,  thanked the MCE for the measures he is putting in place to address desk deficits in the basics schools. 

Ms Koomson also expressed her gratitude to the MCE. According to her, although the desk deficits in the school have not been eliminated completely, it has been reduced significantly. She promised the desks will be put to good use to serve it purpose.
