PRESTEA- HUNI VALLEY GETS SEVEN (7) NEW MECHANISED BOREHOLES,AND SEVERAL OTHERS GET REPAIRED

In a bid to ensure full materialization of Government's aim of providing potable water to citizenry, the Municipal Chief executive for Prestea Hunivalley *Hon. Isaac Dasmani*( *PhD)* who is affectionately referred to by his constituents as " _the municipal Messiah"_ has lobbied for the construction of seven new mechanised boreholes across the municipality.
The drilling of the seven new boreholes are in fulfillment of a promise made to beneficiary communities during his last community engagement in the middle of 2022.
Namely,Kwametsintsin, Dargarti compound Obengkrom, Krofofrom, Aboso(2) and most importantly one being situated at Prestea fire station to enable the service get easy access to water to fight fire incidents as most of the water hydrant was affected by the construction of the town roads.
In a similar development, the municipal chief executives together with his engineers & phisical planners in last month took steps to repair all damaged and spoilt boreholes within the municipality.
In a reaction to the development, *Hon Dasmani* assured other communities with similar challenge to exercise restraint as the government and assembly plans to execute more of such projects in the coming days.
