The former Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East in the Western Region of Ghana, Hon. Helina Ama Appiah, On Monday 10th April 2023 officially commissioned a public restroom at Wassa Akropong.
The restroom has Sixteen(16)seater capacity (8 for Female and 8 for males), Six(6) bathroom (3 for males and 3 for females) and urinals.
Hon. Helina Ama Appiah speaking at the durbar saids, She actually looked for investors to have this suitable initiative because during her time as the MCE for Amenfi East felt government cannot do it all hence demands individuals support to build a better conditions for all residents and diaspora.
Dr. Asafoankye Kwaku Badu, the first vice chairman for western region NPP, commends the investors and urged them to adopt maintenance culture to make the place convenient for use.
The investor, Lawyer. Kwasi Gyima Bota, speaking to Wassaman Insider Newspaper (W.I.N) disclosed that, He invested in this project to boost sanity in the society so he is making it less costive for massive patronage.
He finally appealed to the general public who will be visiting the place to take good care of the place to maintain the suitable and convenient restroom built.
