The leading Rural Bank in Ghana which has its head office at Wassa Akropong with about 18 branches in four regions (Western, Western North, Central and Ashanti Region), Amenfiman Rural Bank PLC, has today Friday, 14th April, 2023 donated items worth Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh20,000) to the organizers of Amenfi Blood Donation.
The donation includes, Five cartons(5) of Milo, Five(5) cartons of Milk and Four Hundred and Fifty (450) T-shirt.
The head of Branch Networks, Mr. Charles Kwame Damoah who led the bank to donate, speaking to Wassaman Insider Newspaper (W.I.N) indicated that the success of Ghanaians are their pride hence calls for the bank to invest huge into this blood donation exercise.
He continued and urged other private and government institutions to support the initiative to save lives.
During the presentation by Amenfiman rural bank PLC at their head office at Wassa Akropong in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region, Ghana. Nana Kofi Atokyi who is the CEO of Tasty Natural Mineral Water at Wassa Adesu in Amenfi East, also Donated an amount of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh2,000) cash to support the blood donation exercise.
Former MCE for Amenfi East Municipal, Hon. Helina Ama Appiah been instrumental in the advocacy for the blood donation commends Amenfiman Rural Bank and Nana Atokyi.
The Organisers (Wassa Media United together with Wassa Akropong government hospital) led by Dr. Wisdom Mensah, who received the donations acknowledged receipt of the donation and asked for more.
In Attendance were, Senior Advocator, Hon. Isaac Kwasi Anim(Hon.Zikay), Nana Ofori Akwah(Asona FM) Asonaba Banasco and Abrewaba Kwabena Tikesie(all of Rivers FM) Wassaman Insider newspaper, Dr. Mensah (Wassa Akropong government hospital) Mr. Thywill Quarshie(Leader of Wassa Media United) Hon. Helina Ama Appiah And some Management and Staff of Amenfiman Rural Bank PLC.
