AMENFI CENTRAL: ELDERS OF WASSA PENSANOM DETACH THEMSELVES FROM CLAIM THAT DCE IS INVOLVED IN GALAMSEY.

On Thursday 9th March,2023, some residents bares teeth at illegal miners for the wanton destruction of their water bodies hence demanded for new boreholes.
In a video sighted by wassamam insider newspaper some top government officials names mentioned that they are aware of illegal mining activities at wassa pensanom. These names including the District Chief Executive, Hon. Patrick Hackson Amponteng(known as P.H) and the District Police Commander.
Today, 15th March, 2023, Wassamam Insider Newspaper and www.wassamaninsider.com engaged the elders and some opinion leaders of Wassa Pensanom, the caretaker, Nana Twumasi (Known as Nana Fusaini) who detached themselves from such allegations made by a group who claimed to be Concerned about development at of Wassa Pensanom.
The caretaker stated that opinion leaders internally took such decision to clear a waterlogged portion for proper flow of a river in the middle of the town to prevent flooding whenever ever it rains.
He is urging the general public to disregard such misinformation that, the DCE and the District Police Commander are involved in galamsey.
