Amenfi West MP submits nomination forms to contest PRIMARIES

Hon. Eric Afful, Member of Parliament (MP) for Amenfi West, has admonished parliamentary aspirants and supporters to conduct campaigns devoid of insults and character assassination to ensure peace and tranquillity in the Party.
Hon. Eric Afful said parliamentary primaries are internal elections the Party conducts to select suitable, credible, marketable and unblemished candidates to contest polls against opponents in other political parties in general election.
The MP gave the advice when he submitted his nomination forms for the upcoming Parliamentary Primary at Asankrangwa in the Amenfi West Constituency.
He used the opportunity to urged other aspirants the country and their followers to desist from slandering and humiliating their opponents and conduct decent campaign, adding that insults and misconduct would not help the Party.
He also called on the rank and file of the party in Amenfi West to ensure that unity became their ultimate goal, the only panacea to increasing the party’s fortune in the 2024 election
Hon. Eric Afful urged the delegates to endorse him again to enable him to continue the good works started over the years to improve the living standards of the people.
Mr Moro Yusif, the Amenfi West Constituency Election Director, who received the forms thanked the MP for abiding by the guidelines for the elections.
The party’s National Executive extended the deadline the deadline for submission up to 21st March, 2023 to enable sitting MPs file so they can quickly return to continue their parliamentary duties on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2023.
