On Monday, July 18, 2022, I Chaired a meeting between Officials of Newmont Ghana Limited, Chiefs and Youth Leaders in the catchment areas of Newmont's new Ahafo North Project (Ahafo Region) in Accra.

The US$850 million Project has received the full support of all relevant stakeholders in the catchment areas.

Speaking on behalf of the Chiefs, Nana Ansah Adu Baah II, Yamfohene and President of Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs commended the Ministry and government for the good job done in engaging all stakeholders towards the success of the project.
