The Wassa Akropong government hospital is the biggest hospital in the Amenfi East Municipal serving thousands of people with good health care.

A place in front of its mortuary, was proposed by the Municipal Assembly to the hospital administration to serve the hospital disposal of waste materials now turns a public dumping site for hospital and the nearby residents.

According to wassaman insider newspaper investigation, the place turned public refuse dump due to lack of proper structuring and maintenance by the Municipal Assembly.
