GARU DISTRICT AGENDA 111 HOSPITAL PROJECT PROGRESSING STEADILY

Government's role in making healthcare accessible to all is gradually becoming a reality in the Garu District of the Upper East Region. Work done on the Agenda 111 project initiated by His Excellency Nana Addo is about 50 %. The sixty bed capacity hospital when completed will serve as a referral hospital for the Garu District and beyond.
Residents of Kpalsak, where this project is located praise the contractor Starry Company Limited for the commitment towards the project.
The project manager of Starry Company Limited, Mr. John Kingsley Kwofie stated that;
"The project is very dear to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and this has compelled us to make sure the project is completed on time to serve the people of Garu and beyond."
The District Chief Executive for Garu, Hon. Musah Osman could not hide his joy at the pace of the project. He urged the contractor to expedite action in making sure that the facility is executed on time.
The District Director of the Ghana Health Service in the District, Mr. Hypolite Yeleduor hinted that a medical doctor has already been posted to the hospital to help in health care delivery.
