Western Regional Veteran Female Farmer Receives Flashy Award From Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi.

The Western Regional Veteran Female Farmer, *Madam Hannah Eshun* from Gyimakrom, a community in Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality of Western Region of Ghana receives Single Cabin Pick-up from the President of Wassa Hemaa Foundation,*Hon.Lawyer Mrs.Barbara Oteng-Gyasi during  the Region's 38ᵗʰ Farmers'* day celebration at Samahu in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality on Friday, 2ⁿᵈ December,2022.

Hon.Barbara Oteng-Gyasi through her Foundation introduced a Veteran Female Farmer Award to reward hardworking female farmer with several years experience in farming to acknowledge the efforts of all elderly women  engaged in farming and Madam Hannah received the maiden award of *Daihatsu Single Cabin Pick-Up* to support her farming activities.

Mr. Abbiam Kuntu Danso, Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party handed over the Pickup to the Award recepient on behalf of Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi.*Ayekoo Ɔbaa Kuani*

The Foundation also supported the organization of the ceremony with Forty(40) pieces of African print cloth for distribution to all awardees. It can be recalled that the Foundation awarded the Best Female Farmer with Chevrolet Single Cabin Pick-up during the 37ᵗʰ Farmers Day celebration held in the Municipality at Damang.

Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly extolled *Hon.Barbara Oteng-Gyasi* with a plaque for her immense contribution towards the organization of the celebration each year to motivate the gallant farmers in the Municipality.

The Plaque was received on behalf of Hon Barbara Oteng-Gyasi by Mr.Addo Isaac, the Public Relations and Project Officer of the Foundation.
