The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate hopeful for Amenfi East, Mr. Ernest Frimpong, also known as COSTARO, has restored hope in Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Football with his ideology to unite the youth with Easter Gala competition.
The official launch of the competitions was a two(2) day event which started on Saturday, March 25 with Jama Night at Mills Lounge and on Sunday, March 26 Health walk and Kenkey party in the morning at Mills lounge.
Finally, a friendly match between Pragyia Riders and Sunday Special team on March 26th,2023 at Wassa Akropong AstroTurf with the ultimate goal of igniting residents to live in peace and harmony with one another.
Mr. Ernest Frimpong in an interview with www.wassamaninsider.com, added that twenty four (24 ) teams are to participate in this year's Easter Gala competitions.
Each team received an appearance fee of Gh300.00 each at the launch.
Mr. Ernest Frimpong (Costaro), announced that, the ultimate winner of the competition will get an amount of Gh3,000 and a trophy.
Main tournament slated for 7th to 10th April, 2023 at Wassa Akropong.
He said, philanthropists and football pundits as well as the general public will massively show up at the event in order to scout good talents for further engagement.
Ernest Frimpong comes in as one of the key contenders for the Amenfi East NPP slot for the 2024 elections.
