Residents of  Wassa Agona  in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality in a press conference have stated some unfortunate situations they are going through as a community all under the leadership of Nana Ampofo Adu II  who is the Divisional chief of the area.

They stated emphatically that,Nana Ampofo Adu II was given a huge accommodation in 2009 just after his enstooolment as the chief on agreement met by him and the community.

What Saddens their heart is that,Nana Ampofo Adu II and his family have mismanaged the apartment given to him by the community into devastating stage now.In other sad news too,Nana Ampofo Adu II has allegedly sold 96.15acres of the Community's land which was left to build the towns Newsite without the knowing of any of his elders.

They are therefore by the above unfortunate conditions given 3months ultimatum to the Royal Family of the Land to distool Nana Ampofo Adu II and enstoool a new one who can help fight for development of the community.

They stated in addition that, from today onwards he is disregarded as their chief should they see or meet him at any event occuring in and around the area.

Speaking to the Press was Gatuso-The Committee Chairman for the Agona Ahwetieso Electoral area in support with Hon. Rashid Fuseini who is the assembly Member of the area and other committee members.
