The Municipal Health Directorate of Prestea-Huni Valley led by the Municipal Health Director Mr. Timothy K. Ofori has lauded *Hon.Lawyer Mrs Barbara Oteng-Gyasi* for her continuous contribution to the improvement of health delivery within the Municipality on Tuesday, 8ᵗʰ August 2023 at Bogoso.
The Directorate recounted the unprecedented projects lobbied for and undertaken by *Hon.Barbara Oteng- Gyasi* such as the Construction of One- Storey Ultra-Modern Children's Block at Prestea Government Hospital, the Construction of Bogoso Government Hospital, expansion and rehabilitation works at Huni Valley Health Centre as well as Aboso Health Centre including it's laboratory, provision of medical equipment to health centers/ CHPS Compounds within the Municipality amongst other individual medical aids donated to less privileged individuals such as person's with disability.The Municipal Health Director Mr.Ofori after expressing his heartfelt gratitude presented a plaque in appreciation of the phenomenal achievement.
*Hon. Lawyer Mrs Barbara Oteng-Gyasi* accepting the plaque assured the Directorate of her commitment to enhance health delivery in the Municipality and disclosed that she was currently lobbying for two additional Ambulances to support emergency healthcare delivery in the Municipality.
