A vibrant Chief in Wassa Amenfi is blaming feuding factions and families for prolonging the resolution of chieftancy cases in Wassa Amenfi. BAAFOUR KWAME ANIM II, Chief of Wassa Asikuma, is unhappy about growing chieftancy disputes on Wassaland and the accompanying public criticism of the highest traditional authority.
He tells this writer on Samreboi based Green Gold FM, that the Overlord of Wassa Amenfi, Tetrete Okuanoah Sekyim II, undertakes serious historical investigations with his traditional royals before the declaration and installation of rightful heirs to thrones. BAAFOUR KWAME ANIM II, was answering a question posed by this reporter on why the age long Asankragwa Chieftancy dispute has still not be resolved. Many residents are blaming the Omanhene of Wassa Amenfi for the non resolution of the Asankragwa Chieftancy dispute. But the respected chief would not agree with that public opinion.
"We speak authority and not public sentiments at the Wassa Amenfi Traditional Palace and I wonder why feuding families and factions at Asankragwa are prolonging the resolution of the chieftancy dispute by hopping from from court to court", BAAFOUR KWAME ANIM II, pointed out.
He called on traditional stakeholders in Amenfi to contribute immensely towards the resolution of chieftancy cases in the name of peace and development.
