"On Tuesday, July 23, Nana Pra Agyensem VI, Board Chairman of Perseus Mining Ghana Limited, commended Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, Omanhene of the Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, for his exemplary leadership skills. 

Speaking at a sod-cutting ceremony for the Wassa Akropong community center, funded by Perseus Mining Ghana Limited through the Edikan Trust Fund, Nana Pra Agyensem VI praised Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II for prioritizing the community's needs over personal gains. 

When asked what he wanted from the mining company, the Omanhene chose an ultra-modern community center over a car and a trip abroad. 

Nana Pra Agyensem VI encouraged all sub-chiefs, opinion leaders, and stakeholders to adopt this selfless spirit to help build a better nation."
