President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E. S. Okraku, has paid a courtesy visit to Champions FC Samartex during the final training session ahead of the club's crucial game against Victoria United in Cameroon.
Mr. Kurt Okraku's visit aimed to bolster the morale of the Timber Giants as the team prepares diligently to advance beyond the first preliminary round.
The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League Champions will be making its maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League competition following the club's historic triumph in the league.
Speaking to the players in Accra, the affable leader urged them to have confidence in themselves, represent the country well, and remain united on the pitch to achieve something worthwhile.
The Timber Giants will mark their debut appearance in the Africa inter-club competition over the weekend in Cameroon against Victoria United on August 18, 2026, before hosting them at the Accra Sports Stadium on August 25, 2024.
