AMENFI WEST MP SUPPORTS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN SAMREBOI

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Amenfi West constituency, Hon. Eric Afful has today made a cash donation of Ten thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghs10,000) to the youth in Samreboi to be used fund various developmental projects earmarked by the youth.

The donation was made on behalf of the Honourable member  by the constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress,Hon. Gilbert Nyame who doubles as the Assembly member for Asankran Breman electoral area, Deputy constituency secretary , Mr. Solomon Blay and Sarfo, the deputy constituency treasurer.

Hon. Nyame in presenting the cash urged the youth representatives to inject the money equitably into various projects that would serve the youth and the surrounding communities at large. He also urged them to work in unison and be accountable to each other in the usage of the cash.

“Hon. Eric Afful is committed to making all communities stronger by providing material and financial resources to fastrack development initiatives in education, health, sports and Recreational centers, etc”.

Hon. Nyame further posited, “It is a public knowledge that all government’s statutory obligations anchored by the Constitution are in arrears. But that notwithstanding, the MP is determined to champion any developmental projects that is geared towards bringing relief to his constituents”

The youth assured the MP of their readiness to collaborate strengthening the strong ties between the communities in the constituency by organizing inter-community fun games.

The cash donation was a response to the youth’s request to Hon. Eric Afful to support them financially to construct a standard volleyball pitch, complete an abandoned public toilet facility, secure a mower, a recreational center for football loving youth to watch games, and to support community football teams in Samreboi and its immediate catchment areas in preparation towards a planned MP’s inter-community gala.

The youth representatives present asked MP’S delegation to extend their gratitude to the Honourable member of Parliament for the quick response to their requests.
