Government is considering sourcing for funding for the rehabilitation of borehole facilities and construction of Small Town Water Systems for deprived communities like Prestea Nkwanta in the Amenfi West Constituency of the Western Region.

Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Abena Dapaah, Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources says her ministry would push for the inclusion of this water project in the 2023 Budget Statement.
She was answering a question in Parliament by MP for Amenfi West, Hon. Eric Afful regarding the connection of water systems for Wasa Dunkwa, Asankran Moseaso, Asankran Kwabeng, Mumuni Camp Oda Kotoamso and Prestea Nkwanta.
Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah said "It is only Prestea Nkwanta which is yet to be provided with a borehole facility.
