HON.ISAAC DASMANI(PhD) EMPATHIZES WITH FLOOD VICTIMS WITHIN HIS MUNICIPALITY.

The recent heavy down pour of rains have caused harm more than good in the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality.

Most communities surrounded by water bodies have its banks over flooded  destroying properties and displaced people's from their respective abodes.

The havoc had made life unbearable for affected victims within the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni Valley Hon.Isaac Dasmani(PhD) popularly known as the Municipal Messiah, teamed up with the Municipal NADMO Secretariat and dredged various courses of streams causing the flood in Bogoso and its environs.

On Monday, 21ˢᵗ of June 2022 the Municipal Messiah Hon.Dasmani(PhD), Mr.Francis Abeiku Yankah(NADMO Director) and some  Executives of the ruling party (NPP ) visited flooded communities such as Juabeng and Himan etc to have an engagement with their Chief's and the displaced victims.

Addressing the people, the MCE outlined various strategies his outfit has set up to solve further  occurrences and notify them of a 

fumigation exercise underway to disinfect the flooded houses. He again identified areas that needed to be dredged, and informed the displaced people of plans to 

support them in rebuilding their structures. He also distributed assorted relief items such as bags of rice, mattresses etc to some affected victims.
