The Chief Of Wassa Hemang Mpataasie in the Amenfi East Municipal, Nana Afroteng II who doubles as the Dwantoahene of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, is appealing to the Interior Minister, Hon. Ambrose Dery to help his community to complete a police station project it has started.
In an interview with Wassaman Insider, Nana Afroteng II said his community is bedeviled with recent invasions of armed robbery.
According to Nana Afroteng II, His community, Hemang Mpataasie through communal labour is building a police post which is in its finishing and wants government support.
He therefore appeals to the Minister of Interior and the Municipal Assembly to assist the community to complete the project.
Nana Afroteng II, also laments on the recent attack by unknown armed men who attacked the Upper Amenfi Rural Bank branch in his community and described it as an affront to national peace and security.
