The Minister for Communication and Digitalisation, Mrs. Ursula Owusu EKUFUL is blaming the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for polluting the minds of some Ghanaians which action has resulted in them unable to re-register their SIM Cards at the end of August, 2022.
Speaking at a Press Conference to announce an extention of the national SIM Card RE-REGISTRATION exercise to September 30, 2022, the Minister blamed her political opponents for the hiccups associated with the process.
Sounding political, a furious Ursula Owusu also blamed the Minister of Interior, Hon. Ambrose Derry and the Head of the National Identification Authority, Dr. KEN Attafuah as to why many Ghanaians have not been given their National Identification Cards for the RE-REGISTRATION of their SIM Cards. She would not embrace any vilification and denigration of her person when she is not to blame
The Communication and Digitalisation Minister has announced the extension of the rural telephony and girls in ICT projects.
Without the extension, 15.7million mobile chips would not have been registered according to the Mobile Money Operators Association.
