NPP is only good at Sloganeering but lacks Implementation of ideas - Wassa Amenfi East MP

The member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi East constituency of the Western region, Hon. Nicholas Amankwah has mocked the New Patriotic Party saying that the NPP is only good at inventions of slogans to confuse and deceive the Masses to buy their voter but nothing to offer the country .
Speaking about current happenings within the country and the haste to go for IMF bailout, the Amenfi East MP said the lack of productivity of government appointees and the current economic mess, he believes the NPP lacks the human capital to steer affairs of the county.
According to Nicholas Amankwah, the New Patriotic Party ‘we have the men, we have the men’ slogan meant area boys which lacked men of intellect and integrity.
The MP who serves as a member of Employment committee in Parliament has critized Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s relative silence on the current state of Ghana’s economic woes.
The lawmaker who was speaking on Accra based Radio station questioned Vice President Dr. Maahamudu Bawumia’s competence to lead Ghana’s Economic Management Team to transform the country’s economy.
According to him, Dr. Bawumia is only a “theoretical Economist” and has not hands-on solutions to their country’s economic problems.
The Amenfi East MP said the Planting for Food and Jobs flagship program has woefully failed, a fact the Agric minister must admit.
Hon. Nicholas Amankwah hinted NPP's motive for running to IMF for cover citing that, Ghana may struggle to borrow from international markets given the scale of its balloon debts.
He cited recent food price hikes on the failure of the government's policy.
The Wassa Amenfi East NDC MP reveals that, the reality about Buffer Stock Company has to do with the fact that they are unable to stock at the peak of the harvest due to financial constraint.
He insists that the Planting For Food and Jobs policy is not thriving and yielding no astounding results as envisioned by the President when he launched the programme.
Nicholas Amankwah says it is important the government shows a high level of honesty to the Ghanaian people in the midst of current hardships.
He advised that, the Akufo-Addo government must come clean regarding the management of the ailing economy.
