Hon. Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah,  MP for Amenfi Central has asked the Energy Minister, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh about his plans on some villages and towns in his constituency.

Hon. Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah in his questions made mention of some towns like Atonsu, Agave, Yiboase, Owusu Dapaa, Abuom and some other place and asked the minister when these towns would be on the radar of the energy ministry for electricity supply.

Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh answered him by saying the aforementioned towns and villages do not form part of any of the ongoing ministries project. He added that the communities have been noted and would be in line for the next phase of the ministries supply of electricity. 

Hon. Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah asked again the reasons as to why some communities who had their electricity project under the former President Mahama's regime almost done still not completed.

He added that he wanted to know if it is the total rejection of their MP in the constituency or the Elevy.

He was answered by the Energy minister as some of the communities that were mention by the member of parliament for Amenfi Central was not part of the questions that were posed to the ministry earlier on and if he wanted them answered then he should respectfully write them on paper and ask. 

He further answered that now that the communities have been mentioned they would note them down and would in line in the subsequent ministries operations.

Amenfi Central MP, added that since the communities form a huge part in the agricultural production in the country,  especially in the cocoa industry why don't consider the community bad ask the President to stop his extravagant spending on travelling to save some money for the project.
