TARKWA NSUAEM MCE, HON. BENJAMIN KESSIE CALLS FOR SACRIFICE AND GREATER COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF THE PEOPLE OF TARKWA-NSAUEM
Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Benjamin Kessie has called on the assembly members to be hardworking, sacrificial and committed to duty in other to improve the living conditions of the people living in the municipality.
During the 2nd Ordinary Meeting of the 3rd session of the 8th assembly held on Tuesday, 27th September 2022 in the municipal Assembly hall, he said though they have achieved a lot through social interventions, they still need to up their game to create a better municipality.
Hon. Kessie also stated that the agriculture department will distribute Forty Thousand (40,000) oil palm and Fifteen Thousand coconut seedlings to farmers in the municipality.
He revealed that five developmental projects have been awarded to contructors in five selected communities. Ie, 3 unit classroom block at Wassa Agona(contructors are on site), construction of community center at cyanide (contructors are on site), construction of community center at Dompim (contructors are on site), fabrication and supply of 15 refuse bay containers for the municipality (contructors are yet to report to site), Supply and installation of generator plant for the assembly (contructors will be on site this weekend).
He therefore cautioned the assembly members to advise their community members who are involve in irresponsible mining to immediately vacate site to avoid arrest.
