NPP Parliamentary candidate hopeful for Amenfi East Constituency, Dr. Isaac Nana Afriyie, is implementing an initiative tagged "The Amenfi's Project"and has donated a huge amount of money towards clearing an long age refuse that ungulfed part of Wassa Akropong Government hospital after series of appeals from the hospital administration.
The cause of this unhealthy situation at the Wassa Akropong government hospital is as a result of poor management by the municipal assembly as far as sanitation is concerned.
Series of publications from, Wassaman insider newspaper, www.wassamaninsider.com, together with some media houses caught the attention of Dr. Isaac Nana Afriyie, through Asona FM's Morning Show host, Nana Ofori Akwah (Nana Ofoo).
The hospital's Dentist cum Technician, Mr. Emmanuel Agbenyor, who spoke on behalf of the hospital administration, acknowledged the incredible support from Dr. Isaac Nana Afriyie.
Mr. Emmanuel Agbenyor further gave a strong warning to nearby residents to resist from dumping refuse into the hospital pit donated by Dr. Isaac Nana Afriyie.
The hospital administration is appealing to the general public to help put the hospital into a good shape since the hospital lacks many logistics.
