Dr Afriyie Sponsors Brilliant But Needy BECE Graduate To SHS.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP)2024 Amenfi East parliamentary aspirant, Dr Isaac Nana Afriyie has donated an undisclosed amount of money to one of the overall best BECE Graduants in the Amenfi East Constituency.
Miss Elizabeth Akwatey, who scored Aggregate 8 in this year's BECE parents could not afford buy her the items needed to enable her enter into Senior High School.
She completed her basic school at Ethiopia forest, a small community in the Amenfi East Municipality and was placed at Amenfiman SHS.
According to reports,her parents were financially handicap and could not afford the cost of the items on the school's prospectus.
Presenting the amount to her, Dr Afriyie stressed that he can not sit aloof and see this brilliant girl dropped out of school due to poverty hence his intervention.
Elizabeth Akwatey who could not hide her joy upon receiving the sponsorship thanked the medical doctor and promise to study hard.
