(Omanhene Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II)
The Omanhene of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, on day two(2) of his three days clean up exercise initiative preached hygiene to residents of Wassa Akropong and it's environs.
The Omanhene during the clean up exercise visited Wassa Akropong Zongo, which appears to be his first time visiting the place. In his visit, the Zongo chief, Alhaji Ibrahim, surprised Omanhene Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, a footpath bridge donated by the Zongo Community.
The Zongo Community made a huge donation of bottle water to the Traditional Council as support to the clean up exercise.
Chief of Wassa Asikuma, Baafour Kwame Anim II, acknowledged receipt on behalf of the traditional council.
Omanhene Tetrete Okuamoah with much joy applauded them and tasked them to do more in their own capacity and pledges to support any initiative from the Zongo community.
The clean up exercise which got massive attention today 14th November, 2023, was accompanied by, Chiefs, Queen Mothers and residents of Wassa Amenfi.
