AMENFI WEST MP SUPPORTS ROAD SPOT IMPROVEMENT.

The Member of Parliament for the Amenfi West Constituency, Hon. EricAfful, has supported the Municipal Assembly with Seven Thousand Ghana Cedis(GHc7,000) to undertake spot improvements on Mumuni to Prestea Nkwanta feeder road under contract in the Amenfi West Municipal Assembly to facilitate free movement of people and transportation of foodstuffs and Cocoa to Mumuni Camp,  Samreboi and Asankrangwa.

The amount released by the member of parliament is to be used to purchase fuel for the levelling of Gravel Yard junction to Mumuni Camp portion of the road which has become undulating with deep gutters.

"The contractors have abandoned the roads but I cannot continue to look on adamant while my constituents goes through hell to get to the market centers. This isn't the first time I am supporting spot improvements of roads under contract but abandoned by contractors,and this will not be the last time". Hon. Eric Afful assures. 

According to the Assemblyman for Mumuni electoral area, Hon. John Anaba, the machines of the contractor on Mumuni Camp to Aworabo road should be on the road today 11th August, 2022 to begin raking  and levelling of the Gravel Yard junction to Mumuni Camp portion of the road.

Our sources close to the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh suggest that the MCE has also promised to support the MP’S imitative with cash donation.

What still remains uncertain is when government will pay Asabea and Kofi Job for them to pack their machines back to the roads.
