The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western Regional first Vice Chairman, Dr. Nana Kwaku Badu (Ayen mpo suro), has expressed his displeasure of attempt made by Amenfi East Municipal Assembly to redevelop Wassa Akropong market at the old place.
In an interview with Wassaman Insider Newspaper, Dr. Nana Kwaku Asafoankye Badu said , the old market land is being encroached by residents making the place very small and chocked.
He therefore entreated the Municipal Assembly to find a new site to build the new market and relocate all traders to trade there than to redevelop the old place.
He finally said, when the new market is giving a new site, residents will move to settle around the market area to aid further physical development.
